One of our most cherished family traditions at Christmas time is our "Waiting Tree". I just had to share this picture. The girls anticipate this time in the evenings as they each get a job- one reads the story from the Bible, one reads the devotional thought, and one puts the shape on the tree. They couldnt bear to go without it while we were in the hospital, so they took it off the wall and brought it to us! It was so precious to have our family Bible time with our girls gathered around the bed and the baby laying at the bottom of the waiting tree. They were so excited to share one of their favorite things with their new sister. :)

Oh, that's so great. How sweet and thoughtful of your big girls to bring the tree to their baby sister. We have so enjoyed our advent tree....all the anticipation of the coming Messiah that we know now. Amazing.
What a PRECIOUS memory! Thanks for sharing the waiting tree with us - always glad to find new ways to celebrate the Savior.
